Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the
Edgewood Baptist Church
with Rev. Fred. Calton and
Rev. J.D. Reavla officiating.
Burial was in the Rowan
Memorial Park with nephews
serving as pallbearers.

He was a member of the
First Christian Church, where
he was past Elder and Deacon
and served as Superintendent
in the Sunday School
Department.
He was a member of the
Ardmore Co'mmunity Club
and served in World war H,
three years in Air Transport
Command,
He was married December
24, 1940 to Opal Krites Fur
ches, who survives.
Also surviving are two
daughters, Mrs. Kenneth
(Ruth) Reece of Oreensboro,
N.C. and Mrs. Douglas (Jean)
Cantrell of Bad Kissengen, W.
Germany: one grandson,
