J —Saturday, April 26, 1997, Salisbury Post Envin Temple marks 71st anniversary COOLEEMEE — Erwin Tem ple CME Church will observe its 71st anniversary Sunday. The pastor, Calvin Smith of Greensboro, will deliver the 11 a.m. message. The mass choir will provide music. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall/dining room at 2 p.m. The Rev. Bobby Best, pastor of St. John CME Church, Winston-Salem, will be guest speaker at 3 p.m. His choir and congregation will accompany him. Twenty-eight pastors have served the congregation since ^ its organization in 1926. The <3^ late Rev. J.S. Calvin Smith will be in charge of the 11 a.m. service and the Erwin Temple Mass Choir will provid music. A special church anniversary offering will be received. Lunch will begin in the fel lowship hall at 2 p.m. The Rev. Donald Jenkins, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Mocksville, will be guest speaker at 3 p.m. He will be accompanied by his con gregation and his choirs, who will provide music.
