The church presented Tuggle with $100 for every year he has been at the church, and a bronze plaque. Ruby Tuggle, his wife, was honored for her 50th year as the church's first lady. Refresh ments followed in the fellowship hall. They were age 36 and 32 when they moved to Mocksville in September, 1962 with their 10-year-oId daughter and 5-year-old son. At 86, he stiil enjoys preaching and pastoring. One of the songs was "Still Blessed," which Tuggle can claim as an achieve ment. "I've looked up to him through the years.as an example," said Deacon Kenny Myers. "He deserves double honor and has always been a blessing to me. He has never compromised.
