Some years ago a Mrs. Hubbard of Scottsburh Ind., a descendant of Thom
Horn of Burry Co. wrote me as follows:`" Thomas Horn came from Deltere
to N.C. He married Sarah Moffitt and their children were Robin, John,
Thomas, Rachel, Ester and Susannah.
Tlioms Horn was a soldier in the Rev. I�lar, as was also his son Robip
who married Mrs. Bryon, the widow of a`Loyal`ist Tory Capt. who, was
killed in a battle between the-','Ihigs and Tories at the shallow ipoAd
of the Yadkin River, Surrey Co. N.C.
Tobias Furches was born in Penn. His mother died when he was youngdnd
he was brought by.his grandmother to N,.C. where he died a t the alae
of 63, but his wife came with her daughter,Jane Coker to Ky. „ihere she
died at the age of 73.
