As was discussed with you last week, we went with the idea of combining the large lot next to #34, but. the map ' on our records doesn't show this lot as any larger:than the rest. The adjoining lot#33. is very low and has a drainway through the center. At this time, rather than cloud and confuse the situation, we feel it would be best if we could meet at the site and clearly state any and all intentions concerning the house and its location. Markland Rt. 3 Mocksville, N.C. 27028 Re: Soil/Site Evaluation Lot.,#34 Country Cove Dear Mr. Markiand: On three seperate dates, 2/6/79, 3/16/79, and 3/20/79, this office evaluated the above mentioned lot, to find the suitability of a conventional ground absorption sewage disposal system. Please note the findings below: Soil qualities: very shallow topsoil, underlain by a greenish mottled 2 to 1 shrink swell clay. Underneath this, at about 2811-32" was rotten rock or saprolite. Percolation results: 3-16-79-perk rate in excess of 200 min/inch. e 3-20-79-perk rate in excess of 200 min/inch. Both percolation test were conducted with the greatest amount of flexiability allowed. Under present guidelines and present technology this lot would be classified as unsuitable for a conventional ground absorption sewage disposal system: - Please note below the address given, which can furnish you with valuable information regarding other types of sewage systems that are presently being tested. The first auger hole revealed a shallow topsoil under— lain by a greenish mottled two to one shrink swell clay. This was pervasive to a depth of approximately 40 inches and this was underlain by a sPecled green saprolite. The second hole in the front of the lot was similar except for a possibly more dense two to one clay. On the basis of poor structure and texture this lot is classified unsuitable for a conventional around absorp ion system. This site evaluation was conducted at the request of Raymond J.
