Known Data
1. Julia Queen married Newcomb Frierson Thompson on 28 Nov. 1866 in
Shelbyville, Tenn.
2. Julia was a daughter of Frank arra Mary (Price) Queen of Bardstown, Ky.
3. Mary (Price) Queen is said to be a lineal descendant of of Daniel Boone.
The above statements were made in The Dictionary of Alabama Biography.
Other data submitted by Paul R. Thompson gives the €l following Queen

of St. Marys County made a will on that date, leaving personalty to
Queen and others ( NCW 2:152).
12. On 18 April 1698 Samuel Queen witnessed the will of Robert Slye of
St. Marys County (MOW, 2:167).
13. Samuel Queen of St. Marys County died leaving a will made 10 Jan.
1711, proved 18 March 1711/2t mentioned children Samuel (to have 300 a.
Underwood), Marsham (to have 500 a. Hudson's Range), William (to have 700
a. Accomac), daughter Katherine, daughter Margaret, son-in-law
Richard Brooke; wife Katherine, and father-in-law Richard Marsham
(MCW, 3t222-223).
14. Richard Marsham of Prince Georges County made a will on 14 April 1713
naming his feu five grandchildren Samuel, Marsham, William, Cahherine,
and Margaret Queen, ch. of Samuel Queen (LCW, 3:20-241).
15. Marsham Queen witnessed the will of Henry Joshua Jameson of Charles
County on 30 Aug. 1733 (MW, 7:45).
16. Marsham Queen wit. the will of Luke Matthews of Charles County
on 3 Jan. 1733/4 (MCW, 7,67).

In the Queen Report, item 25- "James Queen b. c1750, d. 1818 moved
Marylansd to Kentucky.; m. Elizabeth,dau of Ignatius Boone." I lean
strongly to the maRRIAGE TAKING OPLACE IN Maryland, NN and not in
Y
kENTUCKY Kentucky. So, as I stated over the phone - Maryland is
whree to look for your Boone connection.
As for descent from THE Daniel Boone - with the name Boone - descent
mustr be from his three surviving sons who had offspring - see the
paRTIAL genealogy of the Boone Family enclosed This means sons must
be descended from Daniel Morgan Boone (1769) Jesse Bryan Boone
(1773-1820) or Nathan Boone (1781-1856). Nathan was the only one of
Daniel's children to be born in Kentucky (Boone's Station).
I also enclose a Daniel Boone Lineage chart which lists all of Daniel
Boone's grandchildren; Daniel Morgan Boone had 12 children (10 sons)
Jesse Bryan Boone had 9 children (5 sons) and Nathan Boone had -14
children (3 sons). There is no Ignatius Boone in these families.
And none of Daniel Boone's grandaughters is known to have married
a Price.
So there are still more questions than answers - at this stage of
our inquiry.
