Due to the change in the street, addresses along Jarvis Road have changed. The Davie County E911 system relies on addresses being in the proper order and on the correct side of the street to quickly locate your home in the event of an emergency. The address of 245 Jarvis Rd places your home out of sequence with the new road alignment. Please refer to the enclosed map showing the addresses along that section of Jarvis Road. In order for the 911 system to locate your home, we are asking that you change your address from 245 Jarvis Road to the correct address of 213 Jarvis Road, Advance, NC 27006 as soon as possible. The Advance Post Office will forward your mail for up to one year after you file a change of address notice. However, you should post the new address numbers on your home as soon as possible to avoid any confusion in the event of an emergency. Please post this address on your property either at the front entrance to the home or at the driveway entrance to your home along Jarvis Road. Numbers must be reflective and be at least 4 to 6 inches in height.
