He inquired of the family if *'Jim** bad got home, and was told that be had not He then went to the river and found one end of the flat out of the water with the tree still on it Search was made and the body pulled ont flora under the tree, with the bead cmshed and the collar bone broken. The coroner was ooi|^ ed and together with Mr. Grant, at several others, proceeded to .the scei of the tragedy.
