Por the convenience of the researcher, they have been rearranged under letters of the alphabet- though not in complete alphabetical order- and blacks ahd whites separately in most cases. In a few cases the slave, owner was not a member of this church. on the original roll the clerk wrote by each name such information as "Dec", Dis,", Rest.", "Exc." and occasionally, a date.
