mately 100 friends and guests.

ple CME Church will observe
its 71st anniversary Sunday.
The pastor, Calvin Smith of
Greensboro, will deliver the 11
a.m. message. The mass choir
will provide music.
Lunch will follow in the
fellowship hall/dining room at 2
p.m.
The Rev. Bobby Best, pastor
of St. John CME Church,
Winston-Salem, will be guest
speaker at 3 p.m. His choir and
congregation will accompany
him.
Twenty-eight pastors have
served the congregation since
^ its organization in 1926. The
<3^ late Rev. J.S. Miller was the
first.
