di$ me good to receive such an interesting letter. .
hwas ,very sorry. to know that 'your father had passed on.Ve often
wondered if he were still alive , and often spoke of our Taylor

relatives in Vo-C. I 'bm glad to hear that your mother` is still alive.
' I have often heard my broth%r V7m: speak of her, -
As you: will have noticed by-. the heading of my letters, that we
R live in Dearborn. It` is a suburban city of Detroit and contains the
Ford IlQt or Works and also the Home of Henry Ford. S o you see we are .
practically living in the great city of Detroit. Ly brother,
Robert and his wife live here also. In fact they live `in tlie' same =

Until recently I was employecl"wi fh the Federal heserve Bank. -

depression and lack of business I was laid off.So just now I am
on a forced vacation..
' Almost. everybody Las a hobby, and for the past few years my-
hobby has been delving into and writing our family history. -I get
quite a kick out of it, And ao I an interested in obtaining some
of the history of the Taylors in r-C. I would be pleased to have
whatever help you can give me_ in this. I am sending you some pages
of Taylor history and records-" mostly of the, Taylors and; 'their
descendants An these .darts. This might be of eome interest to you.
I might give, you wDre but. this. will suffice f or the present. It is
much the same kind of information as this sent you that I would
like to get from you of the Taylors in F.C. ,and as much more as
you can give,.
Now, I understand that a brother of my grandfather ( ti7illiamTaylor)
emigrated from Scotland to T.C. ajvay back in the 401s or 501s.
Vrrhich one, of the family was thie? He was one of the family as
recorded in the Bible of our great grandfather, and here is a copy
